For higher volume wirework parts, or where a higher level of accuracy and repeatability is required we would normally invest the time in production of the necessary jigs to allow parts to be produced on a computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine. Whilst this machine used the same principles of operation as the manual version it is much more tightly controlled, as can be seen in this video. This particular CNC machine is often referred to as a JIG welder and allows the operator to load and unload components one side of the machine whilst the robot performs the welding operations on the other side.
